Caṇḍikālakṣaṇa (चण्डिकालक्षण) refers to the iconographic details of Caṇḍikā—a form of Gaurī (Śiva’s wife), as discussed in chapter 30 of the Ādikāṇḍa of the Hayaśīrṣasaṃhitā: a large Pāñcarātra Āgama consisting of roughly 6500 verses dealing primarily with architecture, temple-building and consecration rituals and iconography.—Description of the chapter [gaurī-pratimā-lakṣaṇa]: Gaurī, Śiva’s wife, in her forms Lalitā and Caṇḍikā is then described in her 2-armed or 4-armed aspect.
