Pancaratra (worship of Nārāyaṇa)
Source: Wisdom Library: PāñcarātraDhanalakṣmī (धनलक्ष्मी, “Wealth Lakṣmī”):—One of the eight primary forms of Lakṣmī (aṣṭhalakṣmī) presiding over all forms of resources, wealth and prosperity. She has six arms, is garbed in red garments, carries cakra (discus), śaṅkha (conch), Amṛta-kumbha (a pitcher containing Amṛta, ‘nectar of immortality’), bow-arrow, a lotus and showing abhaya-mudra with gold coins falling from it.
Pancaratra (पाञ्चरात्र, pāñcarātra) represents a tradition of Hinduism where Narayana is revered and worshipped. Closeley related to Vaishnavism, the Pancaratra literature includes various Agamas and tantras incorporating many Vaishnava philosophies.
