Source: Wisdom Library: PāñcarātraDhānyalakṣmī (धान्यलक्ष्मी, “Grain Lakṣmī”):—One of the eight primary forms of Lakṣmī (aṣṭhalakṣmī) presiding over all forms of agricultural activities and produce. She has eight arms, is garbed in green garments, carries two lotuses, gadā (mace), paddy crop, sugarcane, bananas, while her other two hands are in the abhaya-mudra and varada-mudra pose.
Pancaratra (पाञ्चरात्र, pāñcarātra) represents a tradition of Hinduism where Narayana is revered and worshipped. Closeley related to Vaishnavism, the Pancaratra literature includes various Agamas and tantras incorporating many Vaishnava philosophies.
