Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchDhāraṇamātra (धारणमात्र) refers to “keeping something in mind”, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] One should reveal this teaching [only] to those superior students [who are] restrained, clever, constantly desiring liberation and have confidence [in the efficacy of this path]. This teaching must be studied always with diligence by those desirous of liberation. By merely keeping it (dhāraṇamātra) [in mind], the highest reality manifests naturally. [...]”.
