Source: archive.org: Puranic EncyclopediaDhundhura (धुन्धुर).—An Asura. It is stated in Gaṇeśa Purāṇa that this asura went to the house of Kaśyapa in the shape of a parrot and tried to kill Gaṇeśa who had incarnated in the house of Kaśyapa, but was killed by him.
The Purana (पुराण, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences.
