Dīpapātramantra (दीपपात्रमन्त्र) refers to the “mantra addressed to the lamp”, as discussed in chapter 31 (Caryāpāda) of the Padmasaṃhitā: the most widely followed of Saṃhitā covering the entire range of concerns of Pāñcarātra doctrine and practice (i.e., the four-fold formulation of subject matter—jñāna, yoga, kriyā and caryā) consisting of roughly 9000 verses.—Description of the chapter [vighnarājotpatti-kirīṭādi-mantroddhāra]: Bhagavān then turns to mantras addressed to the dhūpapātra-holder (79-80), the ghaṇṭā-bell (81-82), and the dīpapātra lamp (83-85). A large section of the chapter is given over to the mantras addressed to the various forms of the sudarśana-discus (86-262). [...]
