बले तु भगवानिन्द्रो वाचि बुद्धौ बृहस्पतिः ।
विष्णुश्चोरुक्रमः शं नो विस्तीर्णक्रमणो ह्यसौ ॥ ३९ ॥
bale tu bhagavānindro vāci buddhau bṛhaspatiḥ |
viṣṇuścorukramaḥ śaṃ no vistīrṇakramaṇo hyasau || 39 ||
English translation of verse 1.39:
May Indra who identifies himself with strength, Bṛhaspati with speech and intellect, Viṣṇu, who is of vast extent, with the feet, as he is, indeed, possessed of great strides, be propitious to us.
