Sanskrit text and transliteration:

महाचमसगोत्रत्वाद् गोत्रार्थस्तद्धितो भवेत् ।
महाचमस्योऽतः साक्षान्महो वेदयते पराम् ॥ ९४ ॥

mahācamasagotratvād gotrārthastaddhito bhavet |
mahācamasyo'taḥ sākṣānmaho vedayate parām || 94 ||

English translation of verse 1.94:

The taddhita suffix “ya” (after mahācamasa) indicates the family, because the sage belonged to the family of Mahācamasa. So the sage is called Māhācamasya.
