Sanskrit text and transliteration:
अतो लक्षणवाचित्वान्न शून्यार्थमिदं वचः ।
विशेष्यत्वेऽपि नैवं स्यात्स्वार्थासन्त्यागकारणात् ॥ ७६ ॥
ato lakṣaṇavācitvānna śūnyārthamidaṃ vacaḥ |
viśeṣyatve'pi naivaṃ syātsvārthāsantyāgakāraṇāt || 76 ||
English translation of verse 2.76:
So, this sentence does not relate to a void since it states the essential nature (of Brahman). Even if (Brahman) is the substantive, it is not the case (that the sentence points to avoid), since the words do not abandon their meanings.
