Verse 2.294
Sanskrit text and transliteration:
आवृत्तिश्चोद्यते चर्चां श्रुतौ त्रिः प्रथमामिति ॥ २९४ ॥
āvṛttiścodyate carcāṃ śrutau triḥ prathamāmiti || 294 ||
English translation of verse 2.294:

Notes:
The passage cited in the verse is from the Taittirīya-saṃhitā, II, v, 7, 1. So the objection that the mental repetition of the mantra is not enjoined does not hold good.
