Verse 2.301

अथर्वाङ्गिरसाभ्यां ये दृष्टाः पुष्ट्यादिकारिणः ।
एत एव हि मन्त्राः स्युरथर्वाङ्गिरसोऽत्र तु ॥ ३०१ ॥

atharvāṅgirasābhyāṃ ye dṛṣṭāḥ puṣṭyādikāriṇaḥ |
eta eva hi mantrāḥ syuratharvāṅgiraso'tra tu || 301 ||

English translation of verse 2.301:

Here, by the word atharvāṅgirasaḥ is meant, indeed, the mantras, which cause prosperity, etc., as seen by the sages Atharvan and Aṅgiras.

Notes:

This verse explains the meaning of the text atharvāṅgirasaḥ puccham pratiṣṭhā. The mantras of the Atharva-veda seen by the two sages Atharvan and Aṅgiras constitute the support, the stabilizing tail, because they deal mainly with rites, which promote man’s prosperity.
