Sanskrit text and transliteration:
गुरुभारावसन्नस्य भारापनयतो यथा ।
उत्कृष्यते क्रमात्स्वास्थ्यं स्वात्मन्येवं तमःक्षयात् ॥ ५२० ॥
gurubhārāvasannasya bhārāpanayato yathā |
utkṛṣyate kramātsvāsthyaṃ svātmanyevaṃ tamaḥkṣayāt || 520 ||
English translation of verse 2.520:
Just as the comfortableness of a person, who is sunk down under a heavy burden, increases by the gradual removal of the burden, (even so the manifestation of bliss) in one’s own Self increases by the gradual removal of avidyā.
