उत्कृष्टिर्वाऽपकृष्टिर्वा नेह स्वात्मनि विद्यते ।
तमोपहतदृष्टीनामुत्कर्षेतरवीक्षणम् ॥ ५३५ ॥
utkṛṣṭirvā'pakṛṣṭirvā neha svātmani vidyate |
tamopahatadṛṣṭīnāmutkarṣetaravīkṣaṇam || 535 ||
English translation of verse 2.535:
Neither superiority nor inferiority exists here in one’s own Self. Those whose vision is affected by ignorance see superiority and inferiority (in the Self).
