वस्तुमात्रानुरोधित्वात्सम्यग्ज्ञानस्य दुष्करम् ।
नियोगानुप्रवेशेन वस्तुतत्त्वावबोधनम् ॥ ६७३ ॥

vastumātrānurodhitvātsamyagjñānasya duṣkaram |
niyogānupraveśena vastutattvāvabodhanam || 673 ||

English translation of verse 2.673:

As valid cognition takes place depending on (a pramāṇa and) the object which is known, it is impossible (for the Vedānta) to reveal the nature of the object by being connected with an injunction.
