अस्मद्धेतोर्महांस्तापोऽविद्यासंवीतचेतसाम् ।
जायते मृतिकाले हि हिक्किकावशवर्तिनाम् ॥ ७३६ ॥

asmaddhetormahāṃstāpo'vidyāsaṃvītacetasām |
jāyate mṛtikāle hi hikkikāvaśavartinām || 736 ||

English translation of verse 2.736:

It is from such cause as this that a great remorse arises, indeed, at the time of death in those whose mind is veiled by ignorance and who are overwhelmed by hiccoughs.
