न सहार्थे तृतीयेयं न्यायोऽत्र प्राक्समीरितः ।
यतोऽतोऽत्र तृतीयेयं ग्राह्येत्थम्भूतलक्षणा ॥ ७२ ॥

na sahārthe tṛtīyeyaṃ nyāyo'tra prāksamīritaḥ |
yato'to'tra tṛtīyeyaṃ grāhyetthambhūtalakṣaṇā || 72 ||

English translation of verse 3.72:

The instrumental case termination (added to the word brahman) is not used to convey the sense of “with.” Inas- much as the reason for this has been explained earlier, here the instrumental case must be understood in the sense of “remaining as.”
