क्षितिज सित ज्ञ चन्द्ररवि सौम्य सितावनिजाः सुरगुरुमन्दसौरिगुरवश्च गृहांशकपाः ।
अजमृगतौलिचन्द्रभवनादि नवांश विधिर्भवन समांशकाधिपतयः स्वगृहात् क्रमशः ॥ ६॥
kṣitija sita jña candraravi saumya sitāvanijāḥ suragurumandasauriguravaśca gṛhāṃśakapāḥ |
ajamṛgataulicandrabhavanādi navāṃśa vidhirbhavana samāṃśakādhipatayaḥ svagṛhāt kramaśaḥ || 6||
Mars, Venus, Mercury, the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Saturn, Jupiter rule the portions of the zodiac signs [beginning with Aries, etc.].
