Verse 5.2
उदयस्थेऽपि वा मन्दे कुजे वास्तं समागते स्थिते वान्तः क्षपानाथे शशाङ्कसुतशुक्रयोः ॥ २॥
udayasthe'pi vā mande kuje vāstaṃ samāgate sthite vāntaḥ kṣapānāthe śaśāṅkasutaśukrayoḥ || 2||
Or also, when Saturn is situated in the ascendant, or when Mars is joined the seventh, or when the Moon is situated in-between Mercury and Venus, [one should infer that the father was away during the child’s birth].
