The Sanskrit text and English translation of the Brihat Jataka of Varahamihira.
Verse 26.17
इति नष्टजातकम् इदं बहुप्रकारं मया विनिर्दिष्टम् ।
ग्राह्यम् अतः सच्छिष्यैः परीक्ष्ययत्नाद् यथा भवति ॥ १७॥
iti naṣṭajātakam idaṃ bahuprakāraṃ mayā vinirdiṣṭam |
grāhyam ataḥ sacchiṣyaiḥ parīkṣyayatnād yathā bhavati || 17||
Thus, these are the various methods of lost horoscope indicated by me. From this in the manner mentioned it is to be grasped by the excellent student having carefully considered from effort.
