The Sanskrit text and English translation of the Brihat Jataka of Varahamihira.

पुरुषः प्रगृहीतलेखनिः श्यामो वस्त्रशिरा व्ययायकृत् ।
विपुलं च बिभर्ति कार्मुकं रोम व्याप्त तनुश्च मध्यमः ॥ १७॥

puruṣaḥ pragṛhītalekhaniḥ śyāmo vastraśirā vyayāyakṛt |
vipulaṃ ca bibharti kārmukaṃ roma vyāpta tanuśca madhyamaḥ
|| 17||

A man with a black pen held out, the head wrapped in a cloth, accounting for expenditures and gains, one carrying a large bow, and hair all over the body is the 2nd drekkana (of Virgo).
