Equal quantities of copper, silver, mica, iron, pearls, cinnabar, puspanjana or puspakasisa, mercury, sulphur, guggulu, trikatu, rasna, croton-seeds, triphala, katuki, roots of danti, devadali, rock-salt, tribrit, and javaksara are to be rubbed together with castor oil, and made into pills, one rakti in weight, each. This medicine cures eight different kinds of udara-roga, anemia, anaha, chronic fever, indigestion mucus, consumption due to an excess of phlegm, all sorts of colic, cough, asthma, and swelling due to anemia.
