Source: Shodhganga: The saurapurana - a critical studyDurvāgaṇaptivrata (दुर्वागणप्तिव्रत) or Durvāgaṇaptivrata is described in the 10th century Saurapurāṇa: one of the various Upapurāṇas depicting Śaivism.—Accordingly, chapter forty-three contains the description of the Umāmaheśvara-vrata and the Durvāgaṇaptivrata. The results of the construction of Śiva temples with different materials or of their extension repairing, white-washing, sweeping, decoration etc. and the glory of the worship of Rudra are described in the chapter forty-four.
