In all probability, Heracles was the descendant of immigrant Yavanas or Ionians settled in Greece. Arrian clearly records that Heracles conquered up to Bactria and Gandhara and established a vast kingdom. Heracles appointed his governors in Bactria and Gandhara who laid the foundations of Indo-Greek kingdom. It appears that the sons of Heracles lost their kingdom in Greece immediately after the death of Heracles. Latinus, the son of Heracles had to migrate to Italy and founded the kingdom of Latins. Most probably, some of the descendants of Heracles also migrated to Gandhara and Bactria

Historians wrongly identified Heracles as Krishna but Haryashva was born in the 15 th generation of Manu. Therefore, Haryashva I must be identified as Heracles and not Sri Krishna of Mahabharata period.
In all probability, King Heracles of Argos conquered Asia up to Afghanistan around 1930-1920 BCE and came up to the rock of Aornus near the city of Nysa but could not capture it. Arrian says that Heracles conquered the Kingdom of Sibians, the Indian community.
