Who has an odor like those of fish, śaivala (a water grass), phaṇirjaka (kind of basil), mud, brandy, or raw flesh, who is frightened when he hears even the rumbling of the clouds (jaladaśabda), becomes enraged at night, and delights in water and dust,—he is a serpent”.
