Jīvantikāvrata (जीवन्तिकाव्रत) or simply Jīvantikā refers to a religious observance (vrata) occurring in the month Śrāvaṇa (July-August).—Jīvantikā-vrata = worship of the goddess Jīvantikā (Mar. Jivatī), who protects children every Friday.
