Source: Brill: Śaivism and the Tantric Traditions (shilpa)Lokasādṛśya (लोकसादृश्य) refers to “that which bears a similarity with the world”, according to the Citrasūtra section (on painting) from the Viṣṇudharmottarapurāṇa.—Accordingly, “Whichever painting that bears a similarity with the world (lokasādṛśya) [that painting] is called satya (‘Naturalistic’)”.
