Mahāvaidyasāra (महावैद्यसार) [=mahāvaidyasāram] is the name of a Manuscript which “explains the treatment for various diseases” and also “explains also how one and the same remedy can be used for curing many different diseases.contains also some sacred spells”.—The manuscript description is found in “A Descriptive Catalogue of the Malayalam Manuscripts in the Government oriental Manuscripts Library, Madras” composed by Vidyasagara Vidyavacaspati P. P. Subrahmanya Sastri.
