Mahāvidrāviṇī) refers to “one is the great arouser of passion”, according to the Jayadrathayāmala verse 4.35.8.—Accordingly, “O mistress of the gods, she is your Kālikā, Nityaklinnā who is said, in truth, to be the supreme (goddess) who is the great arouser of passion (mahāvidrāviṇī)”.
