Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramMātaṅgadvīpa (मातङ्गद्वीप) refers to one of the five islands corresponding to the five kalpas, according to the Tantric texts such as the Kubjikāmata-tantra, the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Mātaṅgadvīpa [is situated] in the middle of the Ocean of the Garden (udyāna). The people on it are dark blue and red. This is where the emanation of the Current (of the tradition) takes place.
