Source: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama TextsNiyamavidhāna (नियमविधान) (lit. “rules of conduct (for a Śiṣya)”) is the name of the twenty-second chapter of the Īśvarasaṃhitā (printed edition), a Pāñcarātra work in 8200 verses and 24 chapters dealing with topics such as routines of temple worship, major and minor festivals, temple-building and initiation.—Description of the chapter [niyamavidhāna]: An initiate must observe certain etiquette toward and respect for his Guru—always answering him affirmatively with “bāḍham”, never showing him disrespect, seeking him only for advice, etc. As well, he should take care in all his everyday affairs to behave correctly—never climbing a banyan tree, always refraining from meat, taking off his shoes before entering a temple, etc. Particularly, he must honor certain rules in worshipping God in order that his pūjā may be perfect and acceptable (1-67)
