Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationSadāśivamaya (सदाशिवमय) refers to “that which is identical with Śiva himself”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.20 (“The celebration of Gaṇeśa’s marriage”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “[...] This narrative is sinless, conducive to glory and enhancer of happiness. It is conducive to longevity and attainment of heaven. It is unequalled and bestows sons and grandsons. It confers salvation and reveals Śiva’s principles. It is pleasing to Pārvatī and Śiva and increases devotion to Śiva. This shall always be heard by devotees and by those who seek liberation and are free from worldly desires. It confers identity with Śiva. It is conducive to welfare and is identical with Śiva himself (sadāśivamaya). [...]”.
