II.3.37 as seen in गोषु दुह्यमानासु गतः (goṣu duhyamānāsu gataḥ); cf. लुकि इति नैषा परसप्तमी । का तर्हि । सत्सप्तमी । लुकि सति इति (luki iti naiṣā parasaptamī | kā tarhi | satsaptamī | luki sati iti) . M, Bh. on P.I.2.49 Vart. 2. On account of the frequent occurrence of the word सति (sati) in a large number of examples of this locative absolute, the term सतिसप्तमी (satisaptamī) is used by modern grammarians for the better word सत्सप्तमी (satsaptamī) in the Mahabhasya; cf. M.Bh. on P.VI.4.23 as also on P.VIII. 3.61.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
