Source: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama TextsSāvitrīmantra (सावित्रीमन्त्र) is another name for the Gāyatrīmantra, as discussed in the fifth-seventh chapter of the Ahirbudhnyasaṃhitā, a Pāñcarātra work in 60 chapters dealing with topics such as Viṣṇu’s discus-power, the processes of creation and esoteric practices related to Sudarśana (such as mantras and yantras).—Description of the chapter [jyotiścakra-mantrārtha-nirūpaṇa]: Here, Ahirbudhnya analyzes the words in the basic 24-syllabled gāyatrīmantra (1-19) and the extended bṛhadgāyatrīmantra (20-28). Then he turns to certain (related?) Vedic mantras in common use (29-79) and he analyzes these in terms acceptable to Pāñcarātrins, the discussion following the pattern set by the preceding three chapters.
Pancaratra (पाञ्चरात्र, pāñcarātra) represents a tradition of Hinduism where Narayana is revered and worshipped. Closeley related to Vaishnavism, the Pancaratra literature includes various Agamas and tantras incorporating many Vaishnava philosophies.
