Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarŚabādeśa (शबादेश).—The Vikarana affixes श्यन्, श, श्रम्, उ (śyan, śa, śram, u) and श्रा (śrā) according to those who hold the view that these affixes do not form the exceptions of शप् (śap), but they are substituted for शप् (śap) . cf. शबादेशाः शयन्नादयः करिष्यन्ते (śabādeśāḥ śayannādayaḥ kariṣyante) M. Bh. on P. I.1.27, II.2.3, III.1.33 and III.1.67.
