Śambhvāgamana (शम्भ्वागमन) refers to the “arrival of Śiva”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.38 (“Description of the dais or maṇḍapa”).—Accordingly, as Himavat prepared the wedding of Menā and Śiva: “[...] Thus for propitiating Śiva, wonderful and very brilliant structures were erected by Viśvakarman. Making all arrangements in accordance with worldly conventions, Himavat awaited eagerly for the arrival of Śiva (śambhvāgamana). Thus, O divine sage, I have narrated the pleasing story of Himavat entirely. What else do you wish to hear?”.
