Source: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuŚimbīphala (शिम्बीफल) is another name for Āhulya, an unidentified medicinal plant possibly identified with Cassia auriculata Linn., according to verse 4.166-170 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (śatāhvādi-varga) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (pṛthu-kṣupa). Together with the names Śimbīphala and Āhulya, there are a total of thirteen Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
