Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationŚivajñānanidhi (शिवज्ञाननिधि) refers to “one who is the storehouse of Śiva’s cult” and is used to describe Brahmā, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.13 (“The birth of Gaṇeśa”).—Accordingly, as Nārada said to Brahmā: “O lord of gods and people, O storehouse of Śiva’s cult (śivajñānanidhi), the excellent story of Kārttikeya, far better than nectar, has been heard by me. Now I wish to hear the excellent story of Gaṇeśa, the details of his divine nativity, auspicious of the auspicious”.
