Pancaratra (worship of Nārāyaṇa)
Source: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama TextsSṛṣṭiprakāra (सृष्टिप्रकार) refers to the “method of creation (of Brahmā, etc.)”, as discussed in chapter 3 (Jñānapāda) of the Padmasaṃhitā: the most widely followed of Saṃhitā covering the entire range of concerns of Pāñcarātra doctrine and practice (i.e., the four-fold formulation of subject matter—jñāna, yoga, kriyā and caryā) consisting of roughly 9000 verses.—Description of the chapter [brahmā-ādi-sṛṣṭi-prakāra]: Nārāyaṇa, having created the waters [toya] goes to His banyan tree where He lies down with the serpent Ananta. Out of His navel grows a lotus wherefrom Brahmā emerges (1-6a). [...] Brahmā feels he has accomplished his purpose and, concentrating on the Lord, receives a vision of Him in blazing glory. From this apparition of Bhagavān Brahmā learns that the sole reason for creation is that it gives joy [krīḍā] to God, and this is only one of His divine pleasures along with preservation and destruction (16-27).
