Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchSvāṅgalepana (स्वाङ्गलेपन) refers to “smearing one’s own body”, according to the Haṭhapradīpikā 3.90.—Accordingly, “Pure ashes, which were produced by burning cow-dung, [should first be] placed in water. After having sex in which Vajrolī Mudrā [was performed], the woman and man, who are sitting comfortably and have finished love making, [should] immediately smear their own bodies (svāṅgalepana) [with the ashes mixed with water]
