Source: Apam Napat: Indian MythologySwaha is a daughter of Daksha, and by many accounts, the wife of Agni, the God of fire. Agni was initially reluctant to marry her, but in the end was persuaded to do so. She obtained the boon that oblations will be poured into fire by taking her name.
