P. III I.133; (2) prescribed in the sense of 'deserving one' optionally along with the pot. pass. part. affixes; e.g. भवान् खलु कन्यया वोढा, भवान् कन्यां वहेत्, भवता खलु कन्या वोढव्या, वाह्या, वहनीया वा (bhavān khalu kanyayā voḍhā, bhavān kanyāṃ vahet, bhavatā khalu kanyā voḍhavyā, vāhyā, vahanīyā vā); cf. Kas. on P. III. 3.169.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
