Source: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuTuṇḍikerikā (तुण्डिकेरिका) is another name for Kārpāsī, an unidentified medicinal plant, according to verse 4.188-189 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (śatāhvādi-varga) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (pṛthu-kṣupa). Together with the names Tuṇḍikerikā and Kālāñjanī, there are a total of ten Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
