Turyātītadaśā (तुर्यातीतदशा) refers to the “state called beyond the fourth”, according to the Īśvarapratyabhijñākārikā III.2.12.—Accordingly, “When further [the layers of the objective “self”] from the Void to the [very] tissues of the body are transmuted by means of the ‘alchemical elixir,’ i.e. by the [fundamental] ‘I’-sense which is certainly conjoined with the qualities of magnificent power, eternality, sovereignty, [and others] of such nature that are cognized [as aspects of that ‘I’], then in this state [called] Beyond the Fourth (turyātītadaśā) they abandon (as it were) their objectivity”.
