Source: archive.org: Vagbhata’s Ashtanga Hridaya Samhita (first 5 chapters)Uṣṇāṅga (उष्णाङ्ग) refers to the “heat of the body (viz., of women)”, which is mentioned in verse 3.15 of the Aṣṭāṅgahṛdayasaṃhitā (Sūtrasthāna) by Vāgbhaṭa.—Accordingly, “[...] Passionate (and) lovely women with exuberant thighs, breasts, and buttocks take away the cold, their body being hot [viz., uṣṇāṅga] with incense, saffron, and youth. [...]”.
Note: The predicate noun Uṣṇāṅga [uṣṇāṅgyaḥ] (“their body being hot” has been rendered by lus-kyi drod-kyis (“by the heat of their body”).
